When your Acronis Backup to Cloud subscription is about to expire and you want to continue backing up to cloud, you need to renew the subscription.

You can reassign a cloud backup subscription from one machine to another, provided that you use the same online backup account.

  1. Start Acronis Backup on the machine to which you want to reassign an existing activated subscription, and click Actions -> Activate online backup subscription:

Acronis Cyber Protect Home Office(formerly Acronis True Image) is available in three packs (tiers): 1 computer, 3 computers, 5 computers.

If you have a 1-computer subscription, you can upgrade to a 3-computer or a 5-computer subscription. A 3-computer subscription can be upgraded to a 5-computer subscription.

To upgrade to a 3-computer subscription, you need to purchase an Acronis True Image (Essentials, Advanced or Premium) for 3 computers. Three 1-computer subscriptions cannot be automatically summed up into a 3-computer subscription.

Acronis Cyber Protect Home Office(formerly Acronis True Image) is available in 3 different editions:

  • Acronis Cyber Protect Home Office Essentials
  • Acronis Cyber Protect Home Office Advanced
  • Acronis Cyber Protect Home Office Premium.

All types are available as 1, 3 and 5 machines licenses. Each license can be used for installing Acronis Cyber Protect Home Office on Windows or Mac.

Effective October 1, 2021, Acronis will only offer new perpetual licenses through Acronis's Channel Partners in the Greater China Region, Korea and Japan. In other regions, Acronis will only sell subscription-based licenses. Please refer to Licensing page for more information.

Introduction

To use Acronis Cyber Protect Home Office (formerly Acronis True Image) on a Windows computer or a Mac, you need to activate it via the Internet. Without activation, the fully functional product works for 30 days. If you do not activate it during that period, all the program functions become unavailable except the recovery.

Symptoms

You installed Acronis Cyber Protect Home Office and signed in.

After clicking Enter serial number, you submit a short subscription key (16 symbols).

After you press Activate, the activity indicator runs for some time, then Activate and Cancel buttons reappear. No error message is shown.
